"If at first you don't succeed - get a bigger hammer!"
Photography / Close-Up / Photography Aids
Have you have ever found yourself struggling to take detailed photos of a round or unusually shaped object like a beverage bottle or cup without having the object roll or move? Then add some rubber stoppers to your photo lab or crime scene photo kit.
These black rubber stoppers are inexpensive and should be easily available at a local large hardware store or building supply center (we bought ours at Lowe's).
The stoppers come in various sizes and can be used to control or prop up even the most ornary objects. They can also be used as boosters to raise a scale to the proper level for forensic examination quality photos of fingerprints, etc.
Keep a variety of sizes on hand. We use #4 (1" x 25/32"); #7 (1 3/8" x 1 3/16") and #8 (1 5/8" x 1 5/16"). If you need to order stoppers from a supplier, remember that smaller stopper #'s mean smaller stopper size.
